Who is Hannah Gapes
Hannah Gapes is a budding middle distance runner based in Rotorua and a proud Thorlo Ambassador.
She is the recent champion of the National U20 Women's 5000m race and is constantly striving to become better in her chosen sport.
Hannah's Accomplishments
At just a young age of 18 years old, Hannah Gapes has already got a few big wins under her belt in running:
1. 2021 - 6000m NZ Cross Country Junior Women's Champion
2. 2021 - National U20 Women's 5000m Champion
3. 2020 - 1500m NZ Secondary Schools Track & Field Champion
4. 2021 - NZ Secondary School Senior Women Cross Country
With her recent win at the New Zealand Cross Country Championships in Dunedin, she is now on the way to compete at the 2022 World Athletics Cross Country Junior Women's Championship in Bathurst, Australia. This is a dream come true for Hannah as this event will allow her to represent New Zealand internationally.
Her drive, athletic excellence and dedication led her to now becoming a Thorlo ambassador.
